The fresh water, electricity, and sewer were all accessed via a door in the back of the trailer. The expert said that hatch cause a lot of moisture exposure as you drive in the rain, so he removed it. Since we removed all of the other things sticking out the side of the trailer, I wanted to keep the smooth lines, so I installed a panel inside one of the side doors with the power and fresh water connection. The existing door will cover and protect the access points when we’re not using it, and give us easy access when we’re ready to use it. I put the panel on a hinge so that we could still access that storage area if we wanted.
